Course Overview

The HIRA course teaches students how to identify, assess, and manage workplace hazards effectively. Learners will gain an understanding of different hazard types, including physical, biological, and psychosocial risks. The course covers the application of the risk assessment process, including baseline, issue-based, and continuous assessments. Students will also learn to implement hazard control programs using a hierarchy of controls. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and apply risk management strategies within various workplace environments.
